A six volume first edition set of "THE HISTORY OF THE WAR IN THE PENINSULAR and in the SOUTH OF FRANCE, from the year 1807 to 1814.

Very scarce in any condition, but RARE in such good clean handsome bindings as this, bound in quarter leather with marbled boards gilt titles & gilt on raised bands diced pattern in between, a total of 54 plates of battle plans , maps and strategies all present and correct , all books are very clean a very minor amount of foxing as usual.
These without doubt are the best informative descriptions ever written on the Peninsular wars.
