Circa 1815. A Regency mahogany framed cheval mirror. The rectangular mirror contained in a mahogany frame with ebony string inlay to the fore-edge. The frame is in very stylish frame, with two elegant finials, and turned uprights bracing at the top and the bottom of the uprights. The mirror held in place by pins with elegant brass knobs, the base issuing a pair of low-slung saber legs with ebony inlay on the top finishing on a cast brass foot with foliate casting on the top and sides with the original castors beneath. The back of the mirror is paneled and polished.
