rosewood and marble top plant stand

Circa 1890, Qing dynasty rosewood and marble topped plant stand. With petal shaped top, and a central section of pink variegated marble, it has a beaded fore-edge leading on to a large open fretwork apron. It stands on 3 legs with dragon head and foliate carving to the front, ad finishes on an animalistic foot. All united by a cross-over stretcher .

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
