scottish 18th century oak longcase clock by ernest mearns, banff

A mid 18th century Scottish oak long case clock by Earnest Means of Banff, circa 1749. Brass dial with silvered finish, case has veneer inlay, and a very attractive carved thistle finial. Eight day movement with bell.
This clock will fit neatly into a smaller room, having a height of 205cm.
