scottish george iii serpentine chest of drawers

Circa 1800, Scottish George III mahogany serpentine chest of drawers. The mahogany top has good figuring and the fore edge has string inlay. Below the top are 4 graduating drawers which have oval pressed brass handles and ivory escutcheons in the form of a heraldic shield. The drawers have string inlay also and mahogany cock beadings. Below the bottom drawer is a shaped and string inlaid apron with a stylish pattern in the centre. The whole piece stands on elegant French style bracket feet. Good order, condition and colour.
