Circa 1825, Scottish George IV mahogany secretaire chest of drawers. In flame mahogany with ribbed fore-edge, and 2 fluted pilasters alongside the configuration of 4 drawers, each with original turned knob handles and ivory escutcheons. The second drawer is a secretaire fitting, opening to a writing surface, drawers and pigeon holes veneered in pollard oak and inlaid fore-edges. Standing on large bulbous legs, finishing on turned toes and square back legs.
