Circa 1860, unusual set of 4 polished steel fireside tools, consisting of a tong, two pokers and shovel. Each with swirling conical top in open work, surmounted with a narrow shaped finial. The main body of each has a low twist to the steel and the tongs have an unusual flower head design to the join and a central circular cast brass rivet. The second poker has a spike to the end for moving heavier logs.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
