This is a set of 6 antique framed botanist's specimens. An English, mounted dried grass and flower collection, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Wonderfully preserved mid 19th century plant life, with appealing presentation
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order behind clear glass
• Skilfully dried in period and mounted within tasteful, later frames
• Six different specimens present, each annotated with its Latin name
• Also annotated with the date and location it was gathered in
• Samples noted as being gathered in Kew Gardens and Jamaica
• Dressed to the rear with mounting cups for ease of hanging
