This is a small antique fire back. An English, heavy cast iron fireplace heat reflector, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Petite form, but delightfully substantial
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Cast iron presents a good, consistent graphite finish
• Dome top with shaped scroll surmount over square lower form
• Relief cast with a dog and duck motif set within a beaded outline
• Excellent weight for the diminutive size at 28.4kg (62.6 lb)
