This is a small antique ladies correspondence table. An English, flame mahogany writing table, dating to the William IV period, circa 1835. 

• Fine suite of functions and storage across an appealing, compact form
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select flame stocks present delightful grain interest throughout
• Deep russet and caramel hues dance beneath a wax polish finish

• Arrangement of three drawers to the fascia, each configured to individual requirements
• Upper drawer boasts a leather skiver set upon a hinged slope, with storage space beneath
• Middle drawer outfitted with pen trays to each side, framing central storage
• The lowest drawer of full width form, ideal for larger papers or notebooks

• Each drawer dressed with pairs of small brass circular pulls
• Matched inset locks across all three fascia — in working order, key present
• Gently tapering support column of stout proportion with collared mount
• Eye-catching hyperboloid base hosts a quartet of scrolled and gadrooned toes
