This is a fine example of beautiful Troika pottery

It is a Smooth Glazed Spice Jar and is decorated by Avril Bennet, who worked for Troika from 1973 to 1979, eventually becoming head decorator.The Troika pottery was originally established in St Ives in 1963, and from 1970 the pottery was moved to Newlyn. This was manufactured in the Newlyn pottery.The piece is in very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs, just the usual manufacturing marks, and has the usual Troika pottery makes on the base alongside the decorators mark.The colours are still fresh, being mainly green, white and brown.
