two antique armchairs in the louis xvi style

We present you these two armchairs from the end of the 19th c. of classicizing form in the type of Louis XVI.

The wooden frames of the armchairs are ornamented with a rich woodcarving. Furthermore, the seats are on springs, upholstered in the same manner as the backrests, and the fragments of the armrests.
The straight, fluted legs, at the top, are finished with a rosette inscribed into a square. The legs’ design refers to the à la grecque style.
Presented armchairs are in good condition. The wood is covered in patina.Moreover, the fabric is abased in couple places and needs to be replaced.The price is for two pieces. THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
