Circa 1900, unusual mahogany box containing some form of electrical instrument. The hinged top has a locking device, and opens to reveal the instrument which is powered by a battery. There are different dials and connectors for putting on various apparatus contained in a drawer below. This item looks like it could cure most ailments! The case has canted corners, brass screw heads and a lifting handle. There is a makers name in the centre ‘Schall & son London, W, 75 New Cavendish Street.’
