victorian mahogany credenza circa 1850-60

Victorian mahogany serpentine credenza/ side cabinet with beautifully figured veneers to the top and door panels. A credenza of this type circa 1850-60, would more usually be found with glazed doors. Lovely original condition with no splits to doors and with the original brass locks and sliding catches. Fully adjustable internal shelves to the double cupboard. Maker's label, John Kendell & Co. to the back.
A very desirably shaped credenza with good storage.
