Circa 1870. Top quality Victorian mahogany desk by famous cabinetmakers Holland and Sons of London. The shaped top desk with moulded edges and a new gilt-tooled burgundy leather writing surface, supported on four banks of graduated drawers with original finely turned wooden knobs and mahogany drawer linings (sign of quality) with the drawers stamped Holland & Sons. With original brass locks and central knee hole with shaped cutout and sitting on enclosed plinth bases. In excellent condition.
