victorian saddle bag chair

Circa 1880, late Victorian saddle bag easy chair. The chair at the base has turned legs at the front and turned and tapering legs at the back. At the finish there is a lovely brass bezel and brass and wooden wheels. The body itself is made of 2 saddle bags, one for the seat and one for the top. There is very elaborate fringing around the front and sides, which has been held in place by brass studding. An unusual chair.
