victorian skeleton mantel clock with dome c1870

A quality single fusee skeleton mantle clock with period dome c1870. Delicately cast and finished brass scroll plates. Silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and blued steel moon hands. Recoil anchor escapement with friction collet crutch adjustment and brass bob pendulum. Original chain drive to the 8-day six pillar movement. Overwind stop. Standing on an ebonised oval base on three brass bun feet under a period glass dome. Supplied with period key. The clock measures 34 cm to the top of its dome. Base dimensions are 23.5 cm x 14 cm. Excellent timekeeper.
Fully cleaned and serviced. The clock's movement is covered by our 12-month warranty in the UK.
This clock is in excellent working condition. No cracks to its period dome. It's period base has had its velvet replaced. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
