Circa 1880, Victorian walnut adjustable music stand in the George III style, with a rectangular top with open lattice supports. There is a small lip at the front and two brass adjustable arms for retaining the sheet music. The upright is held on a square pole which inserts into the stand and has a brass bezel at the top and a brass butterfly for adjusting the height. The main column of the upright is fluted and tapering, and the whole piece stands on elegant sabre legs finishing on a bun feet. The piece is in excellent condition and has a good colour and patination.
