walnut and burr walnut chest on stand

Circa 1920, unusual beautiful figured walnut and burr walnut chest on stand. The top has matching quarter veneers and simple square fore edge, over crossbanded facing on the front and 4 drawers each with stylish knob handles. The top drawer has no lock but the bottom 3 do. The gables have half matching veneers. Beneath the bottom drawer is an ogee moulding and a cushion shaped apron. The whole piece stands on 4 carved cabriole legs with shell knees finishing on ball and claw feet. The piece is in excellent condition with wonderful colour.
