Circa 1880, white marble and gilt mounted mantel clock. Topped with a classic urn and gilded Roman goddess, the main body of the clock has chamfered corners with golden finials held in place by gilded brackets. The side has gilded lion mask faces and the front has bevelled edge glass covering a clock face with makers name of James Ritchie & Son, 25 Leith Street, Edinburgh. Standing on 4 paw feet of a winged griffin, with gilded foliate designs; it has been serviced.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
