Circa 1920, stained mahogany 3 tier buffet by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The top has a raised moulded edge and beneath this there is a concave apron and further below this an apron which is dipped in the centre and has carved flower head decoration on the front. Beneath this there are two further shelves which are again framed with a raised edge. At the top of the middle shelf there is a small quarter bracket on the front and sides and the whole piece stands on four typical Whytock & Reid legs with a slight raised section on the knee which tapers and then a reeded section at the bottom. It has an overlap at the back for skirting board or dado rail.
