Good mid to late 19th century French tortoise shell and brass inlaid Boulle mantel clock in fine original un-touched condition. Everything is original and there is no damage to the tortoise shell, plus it has not been cleaned to hell so all the ormulu and brass is a nice colour. The clock has a painted porcelain dial with original pierced and gilded hands. 8 day movement, time piece only, i.e. it doesn't strike. The clock comes with its original double ended winding and hand adjusting key.
