charles ii style oak turners chair

Circa 1880, Charles II style oak turners chair. With classical tri-form back, and the rectangular top rail with Jacobean style scratch carvings is supported on a ribbed pillar. The bobbin turned arms extend outwards and forward and are supported in front on further ribbed pillars extending down as legs with vertical and horizontal stretchers for stability. The triangular shaped seat has turned mouldings.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
