Circa 1860. A quality pair of mid Victorian upholstered easy chairs. The curved and shaped backs, arms and seat’s pleated and deep buttoned in green silk damask with a foliate pattern. Each chair comes with a loose cushion, with the most elaborate piping and cording around the frame which includes swags, tails, cords and pleating, the back legs are slightly out swept and front legs are turned ring turned and tapering and finishing on a brass cup and castor. Chairs are in need of re-upholstery.
