george iv mahogany inlaid toilet mirror

Circa 1820, George IV mahogany and inlaid toilet mirror of generous proportions. The mirror has an external frame of turned and bobbin inlaid mahogany around it. Each of the sections has an inlaid panel with geometric form. There are eight of these. The mirror has two small turned finials at the top and is held in place by circular brass knobs. The base has three drawers and the whole piece stand on four elegant turned squat feet. Excellent condition.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
