Circa 1930. Georgian-style burr walnut glazed display cabinet on a carved stand. The rectangular polished top with foliate carving in front above the 2 glazed doors opening to interior with glazed glass shelves and glazed sides. Supported on a base with foliate carved waist above 2 frieze drawers and a shell-carved open skirt over cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and pad feet.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
