Circa 1870. A mid Victorian mahogany framed drop-dial fusee wall clock. The circular hood with various mouldings, white enamel face with Roman numerals, inscribed, ‘Martin Arthastone’ and a single winding hole. The glass sits in a cast brass bezel, below a panel with a glazed cut for viewing the pendulum, with foliate carving on each side. In the base a curved section with a small hatch for accessing the pendulum. There are also two hatches to the sides of the clock, clock has recently been serviced and is working.
