luristan bronze iron-age spearhead

A bronze spear head with central strengthening rib, socketed at one end. The shaft is folded towards the lower end and has a piercing on each side at the for rivets to secure the spear to a wooden shaft.

Luristan area of Western Persia: Iron age I: Circa 900-700 BC.Complete and intact the metal is strong and stable with light green accretions.
