Circa 1800. A quality set of 10 late George III mahogany dining chairs. The set of 9 singles and 1 armchair, all with a curved cresting rail and wonderful back supported by three carved uprights which include wheatsheaves and Prince of Wales plume, the center pierced with an elongated vase shape, all resting on the lower back. The armchair with reeding on the facings of the arms, supported on a shaped upright, with stuff over seats, the back legs are square and slightly out swept, front legs are square and tapering, braced by conforming stretchers.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
