We find the theme of washerwomen recurrently throughout the nineteenth and even eighteenth century party. However, it has evolved much the same time as the painting is made more realistic to better participate in the debate and better reflect the drudgery of manual labor. Washerwomen, laundresses, Gleaners ... men too .... The washerwomen Boucher ironer Picasso in 1904, the painting has transformed literature as an academic aesthetics to a pictorial representation in the service of a political message . Politically our table message washerwomen are just for me to say that the landscape is animated! Very nice school nineteenth (first half) in perfect condition. No visible signature but certainly a very good painter. Research has deepened. Canvas for 82 cm by 60 cm and 102cm by 80cm with frame.
