victorian carved oak writing desk davenport style

This is a beautiful Victorian oak desk of very good dimensions. It is small enough to fit into a modern home but easily big enough to hold a laptop and store plenty of files and stationary.

The desk is heavily carved in a gothic / Jacobean style and is solid and very well made. Overall this item is in very good condition. There is a little ware commensurate with the age of the item. There is also a split in the interior base of the desk but this is not visible and does not detract from the appearance or usefulness of the item. The desk is very much in the Davenport style, but does not have any side drawers.
