Early Victorian mahogany Sutherland drop leaf table with beautiful barley twist columns and turned legs and supports on brass casters. There are lovely carved flowers on the feet as an extra detail to this already stunning table.

It is in a very good condition commensurate with its age. There appear to be two old repairs to two corners where they leaves fold down. I have shown this in photos 10 and 11 The last two photos show hairline shrinkage splits which do not detract from the piece. The table has been given a thorough clean.Sutherland tables are the perfect dining table in today's smaller homes as they have a narrow middle section so they don't take up much space when not needed. When you need to use the table it is easy to manoeuvre as it is on brass casters and the leaves of the table open out with the option of opening just one leaf or two depending on how many people you need to accommodate.SHIPPING
