Circa 1920, large walnut partner’s desk/library desk by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The rounded rectangular top with recently added quality gold-tooled green hide writing surface above an arrangement of five drawers opposing a writing slide, the whole raised on cabriole legs, carved to the knees with foliate motifs in shallow relief and terminating in moulded pad feet, stamped maker's mark to top left drawer WHYTOCK & REID/ EDINBURGH.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
