Art Deco Westminster Girod Carillon Walnut, Rosewood Wall Clock French circa 1940-50
Still with the original movement and pendulum, The dial signed with famous name Girod Veritable Westminster.
Girod was one of the leading clock makers for there time in the Jura in France.
The movement serviced and in fully working order.
Interesting to see is the original metal dust cover around the rounded movement corners plates sides of the movement and what we have not seen before is the sealed lead rope around the movement plates with the Girod stamp originally when the movement was made and never been taken apart.
Movement and case are original and belong together.
With original mirrored glass in front of pendulum and fruit ornaments.
Chimes every 15minutes with a possibility to turn it off,
All over in beautiful original condition.
With key and 8 day movement.
