Circa 1930, unusual cabinet on table. The oak cabinet with its brass presentation plaque on the top which states, 'sent to Captain Jock Daley by the Marine Department and Flotation Staff, Patrolling Company, Shanghai, on his retirement, October 1931.' There is a full length drawer at the front with 4 faux books on it. Hinged and opening to reveal several compartments within. The markers plaque, Mappin and Webb is on the drawer. The box is highly decorated, with beading around it, 4 bun feet which are fixed to an oak table beneath. The oak table has a square top and a simple full length drawer with a cast brass handle, square legs with a shelf towards the bottom and as the legs go towards the ground, they kick out slightly.
