Circa 1870.A rare and unusual mid Victorian polished marble and malachite inlaid mantle clock, the flat top surmounted by a brass Hoho standing on an urn, the clock with 3 dials, the time piece with visible escapement Roman numerals, 2 steel hands and a stylish shaped brass bezel and a glazed door, beneath this there’s an open section, mirror backed, with a mercury and brass pendulum, flanked by a pair of circular dials one with the temperature in Fahrenheit and a barometer both with brass bezels and bevel edged glass with various malachite panels on the clock, beneath the dials is stylish elegant moulding, the clock rests on a shaped plinth with a brass plate beneath, the clock has been serviced and working.
