A superb London shape porcelain coffee can produced in Swansea around 1815, Although unmarked, this piece is decorated with pattern number, 219. An Imari style design of three orange and white stylised chrysanthemum heads and gilt foliage and scrolls against a dark blue ground. These divided by two circular reserves of hand-painted summer flowers in bright enamels. This piece is in excellent, original, sound condition with no wear to the decoration.
