Circa 1900, bentwood hall stand by Fischel. Topped with a finial, it has 8 hooks in a concentric form and is all attached to a rectangular column with concave facings. There are 4 C-scroll sections to the base with a band for storing walking sticks, and all standing on double bentwood feet. It has the original makers label to the base of ‘Fischel’, who were a Czechoslovakian firm specialising in bentwood furniture.
