carved oak mirror back hall stand

Circa 1880, French or Belgian carved oak, mirrored back hall stand. It has an architectural carved pediment with a green man design in the centre and foliate carving. It has a central bevelled edge mirror with green man faces and carved patterns to either side, and retains its original turned oak pegs. Beneath this is a drawer and to the base are two painted drip trays om ring turned legs. All standing on bun feet to the front and simple feet to the back.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
