george ii style walnut writing desk

Circa 1910, George II style figured and burr walnut freestanding writing desk. With a shaped front and back, the cross-banded top with a moulded edge encloses an embossed green writing surface. A long frieze drawer with fretted brass handles is flanked by banks of 3 shaped drawer. There are rounded pilasters at the sides, all supporting cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The quality desk was possibly made by Tozer.

Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
