      Vittorio Dassi (1893-1973). The creation of an outstanding classic of Italian design from the 1930s to the 1960s. It has gone from late Art Deco to the sophisticated functionalism of the 1950s. and modular furniture. Presents a grand furniture set in the Art Deco style, including 6 chairs, a round table and a chest of drawers. The chest of drawers and table are set on octagonal tapered legs and set in impressive slabs of Portuguese marble. The upper surfaces are covered with noble black opal glass. The magnificent body of the grandiose, capacious chest of drawers hides three pairs of door leaves behind an elaborate marquetry panel by Piero Del Grande dedicated to the inhabitants of the sea depths of the Mediterranean.
